The Sea at Elizabeth Castle

This work was created for an Exhibition on Elizabeth Castle organized by RampArts, a Jersey based art collective run by Heather Brown. The funds raised from the Exhibition went to Jersey Heritage, a local charity who maintain major historical sites such as the subject matter of this piece. I am proud to have done my part in helping them renovate this Castle.

For the sea, I was inspired by one of my favourite artists, Hiroshige, who made waves come to life on the page. I combined the Eatern style waves with the backdrop of the European Gothic Castle; very east meets west, which is a common theme in my works.

The Original work is available for purchase on my Store.
